Propellers

One of the other new features coming in 3.7 is the ability to associated propellers with events for those of us using such things. This is handled in a fashion similar to locations, where there is a global list of possible propellers that can then be associated with a model or event.

The main list is accessed off the database tab

From here, tapping on “Model Propellers” will take to to a list of propellers that are currently defined. This list lets you select a propeller to edit using the propeller editor.

You can flip between metric (cm) and imperial (in) measurements and specify the blade count, diameter and pitch.

Each aircraft or boat model can have a “default” propeller that is associated with each of the model’s events by default (strangely enough). At the end of an event, you also have the option of using a different propeller.
