Creeping Toward Beta

The beta should be going out to the testers this weekend (or as soon as the last few UDIDs come in from the testers). From there, the plan is to shoot for a submission to the app store around the end of the month. Of course, that all hinges on how healthy (or not) the beta is. Fingers are crossed.

All Back

Website is finally completely moved over to the new hosting provider and moved over to the new tools (WordPress and friends). I forgot how much fun HTML and CSS is.

Finally…

The next release has been christened 3.5 and is running through a final round of testing before it ends up in the app store. The change log isn’t huge, but there is some good stuff in there (at least that’s what we think).

Here’s what the event edit screen looks like in the latest beta. There is a fairly subtle change that points to one of the new features in 3.5.

Where's Waldo?

If you were unable to find it, direct your attention to the right of the very first row in the table. That little “>” on the right of the row is the gateway to the following screen:

Finally!

There’s a similar thing going on with cycle dates & times. When using this, you need to be careful as RCLogbook does allow you to get cycle and event times out of sync.

“3PO?! Where have you been?!”

The (not so burning) question is: what is going on? Thought it may not seem that way given that the old blog basically went silent for a long, long, long time, there has been progress made on RCLogbook. Not to mention the new hosting digs you see here that we are moving into as we type. The new hosting arrangement will let us (hopefully) do some web features in future releases that we have been kicking around for a while.

Coding wrapped up (well, aside from some last tweaks) on RCLogbook 3.5 a few days ago and it is now in testing. We expect to do a release here in the next few weeks.

So, what does 3.5 bring, you ask? We will get into that later…
